Nine Months today---

Each morning I start the day with an online daily devotional. Today’s Bible verse was just what I needed to hear.

Proverbs 3 verse 5 & 6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight”.

Today we have been on the list 9 MONTHS!!! Wooooo hooooo!!!
I know that we are not to get caught up on numbers but I did check with our SW a couple of weeks ago and we are #100. She did say that we are 8 away from starting our Dossier

Congratulations! You're right, it's not about numbers, but it can be so encouraging to actually SEE the forward progress!

Woohoo, that means we are just a bit behind you and we may be 12 away from starting our dossier. Are you open to any special needs; at this time, we are holding off and our SW said it wasn't a very good idea since both of us will need to continue working.

Wow, you're getting closer and closer to starting that dossier. Looks like we'll be a few months behind you. : )

Hi there. I just saw your post on my blog and definitely yes - there were times when I waited for Lucas that I thought it would never happen. When I started for Lucas, Vietnam wasn't even open yet. I took a chance that it would open and I was able to adopt Lucas in record time. I would tell you that I've forgotten how stressful it was, but I'm waiting again for baby #2 ( just behind you) and it's the same this time. Some days I'm very positive and others I'm really stressed. Just try to hang in there. I truly believe that it's going to happen and Lucas is going to have a baby brother. Best Wishes.

Hi, Jessica--

I wanted to email you along with my other blog friends, but I realized that I don't have an email address for you. We have a new blog at you mind too much changing my link on your blogroll and changing the visible name to Five In the Hive? Thank you.

I hope all is well you. I know how hard the waiting is, but hang in there. Once you finally see John Edward's face, the time you've waited really will melt away. I didn't believe it myself, but those months I waited for the boys' referrals are not painful anymore. You're fortunate to have such a strong faith to see you through!

Way to go on 9 months down, that is a great accomplishment. And you are so close to starting your dossier--that is great news!!!

Hey there! Me again!

I actually was thinking that I would like to go to the Tet celebration next Thursday, especially to say good-bye to Sara. Are you guys going? That would be great if you could come so we could finally meet in real life! I've never gone to any of the celebrations yet because I kind of feel out of place without our child home. But if you guys decided to go, I would definitely go too! I think it will be fun to meet everyone and to see all the kids.
